Welcome! We are the only rescue in the US for the Fila Brasileiro, aka Brazilian Mastiff. It's our goal to ensure that this wonderful, and often misunderstood, breed is allowed the same chances as any other when they find themselves in need. Often, our rescues come from shelters, but many are also owner surrendered, either because they can no longer provide a home, or their owner has passed away. Some are here to stay, as it's not easy to find a good home for a Fila. Most of our available dogs are here in AL with me, in my home. If you are that good home, please don't let distance stop you from applying to foster or adopt, as we have driven all over the country to facilitate just that. Adoption fees are not our primary goal. Fila experienced homes ARE, or those willing to learn.
